GWFC predictions?
The journalists of Anet have put in their predictions for who will win the GWFC right here...
http://www.guildwars.com/competitive...redictions.php
But what do the players think?
Who do you think will come out on top in the GWFC at Leipzig, Germany?
Im all for iQ on this one...out of the top 8, they seem to be the one who is practicing the most *at least in rated matches that can be viewed in observer* I've also seen them trying different styles to see what they like best and how well each style performs.
Honestly (even though it was a test season) I saw EvIL slacking up ALOT, even to the point to losing to up and comer One Hitter Quitters *who rocks by the way*. QQ (One Hitter Quitters) is really good and runs the WM dual gank sin build, but I honestly didn't think EvIL would fall to it so easily...
WM-big disappointment...they're supposed to be the 2nd guild to EvIL but their performance in the season 3 finals was PATHETIC! I had never seen WM lose so easily until that day...i think WM is starting to get off it's game
Te is a great guild with great players. Never straying too far into full thump teams, Te are true patriots of the balanced build, so be sure they will be ready for anything thrown at them.
EW-insert the unorthodox, the pure FOC spike EW showed in season 2 put them on the map, and ever since they've been know as the guild to pull out the crazy when the cookie cutter fails. I expect EW to bring something brand new to the metagame in Germany.
iB-The offensive guild, "attack is the best defense" quoted iB when being questioned about what they expect in Leipzig. One of the strogest guilds in overall power, look for iB to take a top slot in the GWFC
Whatever your pick, the GWFC is sure to be the best display of Guild Wars Factions competitive play at its best. Stay updated at www.guildwars.com for any new developments in the GWFC and watch observer mode August 24-27 to see who will come out on top as the Guild Wars Factions Champion.

I take it you mean when EvIL whopped them when they were running their, quite ingenious, constant Shadow Form assassins? Yeah, EvIL got lucky and managed to bring the direct counter (Expunge Enchantments), so WM looked pretty bad that game. Meh, Build Wars. Te did as well against them, but, well, it just happened WM didn't run their Shadow Form assassins that game, so it didn't work out for Te.

Although I'm from England, I prefer to watch WM. So, since I get most enjoyment from watching them I'm backing them.
WM all the way.

Nothing to do with luck. EvIL has a spy in WM Int. I saw them recruiting random R5+ players in HA today. Any EvIL members younger brother could join and leak info!

Im still a n00b pvper but I'll put in my 2cents anyway
I've been a big fan of EW ever since I saw them play on GWTV. They run some pretty unique builds and I think they will suprise everyone with a completly out-of-the-norm build in Germany. But who knows?

The evil side of me, hopes that the GWFC is plagued by err7s and players getting stuck in the ground, in the hopes that it will embarass Anet into actually making more of an effort to fix the problems.
Actually I am looking forward to a Korean final. I love seeing WM's original builds and EvIL's precision play.

Much as I love IQ, I'm gonna go with WM. They seem to be the kings of original builds thus allowing them to control the initiative most matches.

WM, for me, I really like how they can make a HUGE comeback and win, anyone remember the 2 games between WM and LuM a while ago? Also they beat Evil in this fun ladder season, hope they can do it again.

I think Te will go by EW. I'm not sure on how they'll do vs. WM, but I think backing them to the Final could be a clever one. They're underestimated heavily by most people, though I'm sure the competitive community don't think the same.
As for iQ vs. iB - that one's a difficult one. Both teams are good, and I imagine it'll be a fun tie to watch.
As for EvIL vs. the winner of iQ / iB, I don't see EvIL winning with Mo/A's. I think it's a big part of the reason they lost to WM and QQ, as you mentioned. during the season. (PS. We don't run WM's 2 Assassin gank Build; our Flag teams are much different )

Um, why did you bother posting this? If you knew this thread was about PvP, and you think PvP is boring, what is the point of posting that??
Anyways, I've always been a fan of EW (Dephira Cadbury and Electron Theory FTW). I predict that it'll be a final between WM and EW, and EW will win 2-1.

Well...I have a feeling that iQ and Te will lose 1-2 in their respective games, with WM getting knocked out by their contender (iB or EW? can't remember), and EvIL winning the championship.
It's all speculation, though. We'll just have to wait and see

I hope that it'll be an iB vs. EW final, but it'll probably end up as a kr vs. an eu guild.
